Our Story
Caliche was born from a simple belief: that the food you eat should taste like it was made by someone who actually cares. On South Main Street, we've built a space where the smell of fresh bread is the first welcome, and every product on our shelves tells a story.
Our bakery produces daily from scratch — sourdough loaves with a crust that crackles, flaky pastries folded by hand, and sweet treats that don't need a label to explain why they're good. Our grocery section features locally sourced pantry staples, spices, and goods we'd proudly keep in our own kitchen.
Las Cruces has shaped everything we do. The desert light, the border culture, the rhythm of a town that values honesty over flash — you'll taste all of it in what we make.

Everything we make or stock is chosen for one reason — it would sit proudly on our own table. No fillers, no shortcuts, no products we wouldn't serve our neighbors.
Sourdough, ciabatta, focaccia, and seasonal varieties — all baked from scratch each morning using naturally leavened dough and the finest flour.
